The Korey Foreman pick is the one that will follow the Bengals into the fall. They took him 57 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. They moved the roster forward and banked a B for it.

That Porter pick is the receipt they will wave around later. They will regret leaving quarterback for another day if the season turns on it.

Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
