Lawson should have been long gone. The Patriots pounced, and earned a B.

You could see the war room lean forward. Deontae Lawson at No. 247 is the sort of fall that does not happen, except it just did. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They are betting Wagner proves the room right and everyone else wrong. The trade ledger is the best part of the whole weekend. They will regret leaving interior defensive lineman for another day if the season turns on it.

The Trey Hendrickson deal gives the class an established piece to lean on.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.
