The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bengals and Lawson: D+.

The rest of the league will want that one back. Deontae Lawson tumbling to the Bengals in pick 176 is a gift they did not have to think twice about. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.

They will need Daniels to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. The trade table is where this weekend went wrong. They punted on tight end, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest.

The Bengals indulged a want in Thieneman while a need in tight end, wide receiver and other spots stayed open.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, tight end very much included.
