The steal of the weekend belongs to the Jets and Cameron: B-.

Call it larceny. Josh Cameron sat on the board until pick No. 208, and the Jets did not need to be asked twice. It does the job without flash, and the B- reflects it.

They will regret leaving edge rusher for another day if the season turns on it. The Styles pick reads as want over need, and the roster will feel it at edge rusher, safety and other spots.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.

Pick2 Rnd1 Arvell Reese
In pick No. 2 they get a sideline-to-sideline linebacker at fair value. Need was not the driver here.
Pick16 Rnd1 Sonny Styles
A curious use of the 16th overall pick. Edge rusher, safety and other spots needed the pick; a linebacker in Sonny Styles did not.
Pick33 Rnd2 Kenyon Sadiq
They read the board right and Kenyon Sadiq was the payoff at pick 33. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

Emmanuel Pregnon in the Round 2 slot is fine work, a shade of surplus and no downside. One more legitimate question on the roster, answered.

Circle this one: Skyler Bell at No. 103 is a fall that decides a draft. It patches a soft spot without any drama.

A cornerback of that caliber at Round 4, Pick 40 is the definition of value, full stop. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.

Aaron Anderson at slot 179 is money in the bank, a wide receiver taken below his worth. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.

The board had Taylen Green higher than the 194th pick, and the quarterback fell to them anyway. This was priority one on the needs board, and now it is handled.
