Grand theft in the 134th overall pick: the 49ers steal Sorsby and grade out a B.

The 49ers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Brendan Sorsby fell into slot 134. The bottom line is a respectable B.

The 49ers indulged a want in Smith while a need in running back, interior defensive lineman and other spots stayed open. The Smith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

A whole weekend of picks and running back is somehow still a want. Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

The board fumbled Brendan Sorsby all the way to pick 134, and they scooped it up. It shores up a spot that genuinely needed the help.
