No fireworks, just a tidy B for the Chargers.

The Chargers went off the board in a big way for Stephiylan Green, 330 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

However the rest shakes out, Delp at that price is a win they earned. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with edge rusher chief among the fixes. Quantity was the play, for better or worse.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

In the 21st overall pick they get a problem off the edge, and a steal at that. It fills the loudest need on the roster.
Pick52 Rnd2 Joshua Josephs
Joshua Josephs slid further than he should have, and Round 2, Pick 20 is lovely value for the edge rusher. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.

They paid sticker price for Harold Perkins Jr. in the Round 3 slot, and that is fine. A minor need, but a need all the same.

A real head-scratcher, Stephiylan Green in pick No. 123 is miles ahead of his ranking. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.

Terry Moore in pick 124 is fair value, right on his grade. Not urgent, but hardly pointless.

A wild overpay on Isaiah Augustave in No. 204, the sort that defines a class for the wrong reasons. It plugs a real leak on the depth chart.
