Larceny in pick 251 lands the Broncos a B-, Allen and all.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Broncos watched Kaytron Allen slide 156 picks past his grade and did not hesitate. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

The Benny reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. For all the activity, linebacker went untouched, which is hard to explain. Interior defensive lineman was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
