The tape said wait; the Bills did not. Zion Nelson went at the Round 7 slot, a good 132 picks before the board was ready. For now it grades a C, with the swing picks left to settle the rest.

The Kilgore pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.
