Draft Grade — Packers
Overall C
ValueC- NeedB TradesC- FutureC+
The Packers landed square in the muddy middle: C.

If confidence were a draft strategy, the Packers would have aced it. Antonio Kite at Round 3, Pick 10 is 122 spots clear of where he belonged. The final tally is a middling C.

Landing Joly that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Leaving edge rusher unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

They left with cornerback solved and the rest of the wish list mostly ticked off. A small leak at the table, if not a fatal one.

If Elijah Sarratt and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.

Pick Analysis
Pick52 Rnd2 Elijah Sarratt
Elijah Sarratt slid further than he should have, and pick No. 52 is lovely value for the wide receiver. The roster fit checks out.
Pick74 Rnd3 Antonio Kite
Antonio Kite at the Round 3 slot is the kind of overdraft that needs everything to break right. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick120 Rnd4 Carter Smith
Carter Smith at the 120th overall pick is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. A sensible fit that makes the depth chart a little sturdier.
Pick159 Rnd5 Justin Joly
Justin Joly in pick 159 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick236 Rnd7 Branson Robinson
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Branson Robinson. That was the need underlined and circled, and now it is checked off.
Pick254 Rnd7 Key Lawrence
Key Lawrence at slot 254 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick257 Rnd7 Daevin Hobbs
Daevin Hobbs at the Round 7 slot is a first-round grade at a bargain-bin price, no notes. It patches a soft spot without any drama.
