The Cowboys got the worse of every deal, and it shows in the D-.

Call it a hunch or call it a gamble, but the Cowboys spent the 20th pick on Trey Holly, a name most had 235 spots down the list.

Landing Bailey that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. They lost the exchange badly enough to drag the whole class down.

That cornerback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The roster is better shaped than it was, with wide receiver chief among the fixes.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, cornerback very much included.
