The Howard Cross III pick is the one that will follow the Jets into the fall. They took him 191 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so.

They banked enough surplus on Helm to cover a lot of smaller sins. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped edge rusher, which is a strange place to end up. The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes.
