Draft Grade — Raiders
Overall D
ValueF NeedB TradesB- FutureB-
The Raiders answered their biggest question with Arnold. Grade: D.

The move everyone will second-guess came early. The Raiders reached some 375 spots for Keyjuan Brown, and value like that does not grow back.

The Corleone steal is the beam this whole class leans on. So much rides on Jackson Arnold that the rest of the class almost grades on a curve behind him. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and edge rusher is still a hole.

Pick Analysis
Pick1 Rnd1 Jackson Arnold
In pick No. 1 they get their guy under center for the next decade, a steep price for the projection.
Pick36 Rnd2 Aamil Wagner
Aamil Wagner at Round 2, Pick 4 is an overdraft of the loud, memorable kind. The biggest hole on the depth chart just got a whole lot smaller.
Pick67 Rnd3 Ty Simpson
Ty Simpson in pick 67 is a gift, value that borders on unfair. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick102 Rnd4 Dontay Corleone
You do not let an interior defensive lineman like Dontay Corleone reach the 102nd overall pick and blink. They did not. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick117 Rnd4 Keyjuan Brown
The board screamed and they did not listen, reaching into the next round for Keyjuan Brown. The roster fit checks out.
Pick134 Rnd4 Deion Burks
They barely believed it either: Deion Burks still on the board at the 134th pick. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
Pick174 Rnd5 Bray Hubbard
Bray Hubbard in the Round 5 slot should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It thickens a room that could stand to be thicker.
Pick182 Rnd6 Michael Harris
Value said wait; Michael Harris in the 182nd pick says they were not listening. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick185 Rnd6 Dezz Ricks
Dezz Ricks at slot 185 is the pick scouts circle, and not in a good way. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick219 Rnd7 Aaron Anderson
Aaron Anderson at Round 7, Pick 3 is daylight robbery; nobody expected him to last. Top of the wish list, and they did not leave without it.
