The steal of the weekend belongs to the Bengals and Kilgore: D.

The Bengals spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Jalon Kilgore, the No. 71 name on the board, in the 252nd overall pick. Too much went sideways, and the D is the honest tally.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall.

The cost of the Lawson reach is exactly the players who went right after him.

Add it up and it is a weekend the front office will hope everyone forgets, interior defensive lineman very much included.
