The Dolphins finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a B-.

The one hole that towered over the rest is filled. The Dolphins spent their marquee pick on Ty Simpson, and for the first time in a while there is a real answer at quarterback.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. They will need Sapp to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it.

The roster is better shaped than it was, with quarterback chief among the fixes. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
