There is reaching, and then there is Scooby Williams at slot 179. The Cowboys jumped the board by 217 and dared it to prove them wrong.

Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. The Reese pick is the one they will point to when this weekend is judged.

If Arvell Reese and a couple of the gambles land, hindsight will be kinder than this grade.
