A solid, sensible weekend for the Broncos: B-.

The Broncos went off the board in a big way for Mike Washington Jr., 42 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. Landing Regis that late papers over a lot of smaller sins. Linebacker was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

The offense got the lion's share of the attention.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
