That is a cornerback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. Spending an early pick on cornerback with quarterback, running back and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.

Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even, and quarterback is still a hole.
