Jaybeast17 DRAFTING FOR THEChargers

Draft Grade — Chargers

A weekend that raised as many questions as it answered. The Chargers get a C. Boards are made to be trusted, and the Chargers shredded theirs for Jambres Dubar. He came off 400 spots early, and the room will hear about it.
That Thomas pick is the receipt they will wave around later. A whole weekend of picks and wide receiver is somehow still a want. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
In the end, a coin-flip class: fine today, with a wide range of outcomes ahead.
Pick Analysis
Pick26
Rnd1
Justice Haynes
In pick No. 26 they get a lead back with juice, though the board says they badly overpaid. A real need, handled.
Pick57
Rnd2
Quincy Rhodes Jr.
A tidy little value on Quincy Rhodes Jr. in slot 57, a step better than break-even. Better still, it is exactly the hole they had to fill.
Pick92
Rnd3
Jambres Dubar
Jambres Dubar at Round 3, Pick 28 is a steep price for a hunch, hard to square with any board. Another box on the needs board, quietly ticked.
Pick127
Rnd4
Bear Alexander
Value said wait; Bear Alexander in the 127th pick says they were not listening. They walked in needing this and walked out with it.
Pick205
Rnd6
R Mason Thomas
R Mason Thomas in the 205th overall pick should not have been possible, and that is the whole point. It also answers one of the loudest questions on the roster.
