Sellers should have been long gone. The Cowboys pounced, and earned a B.

Somebody in the Round 7 slot was going to get robbed, and it turned out to be the rest of the league. The Cowboys sat still while LaNorris Sellers, the No. 16 name on the board, slid all the way to them, then sprinted to the podium. A dependable weekend that grades out a B.

The wide receiver hole is the one line item this class does not answer. With wide receiver and linebacker unsolved, spending premium capital on edge rusher is the choice that costs them.

The Howell reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
