After circling the position for what felt like forever, the Browns committed. Ty Simpson is the quarterback now, and the roster gets built to his timeline.

They will need Shelton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain.

Quarterback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job. The offense got the lion's share of the attention.
