There is reaching, and then there is King Mack at the Round 7 slot. The Cowboys jumped the board by 82 and dared it to prove them wrong. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

That is a quarterback worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly. A modest surplus at the table, banked quietly. Wide receiver was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

They chose more darts over a bigger single swing.

Add it up and it is a good, unfussy class.
