The Commanders spent the weekend waiting on one name, and it fell: Sonny Styles, the No. 37 name on the board, in No. 60. Good, not great, and the B says as much.

They will need Sturdivant to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Spending an early pick on linebacker with tight end, edge rusher and other spots open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That tight end hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
