The Saints finally solved quarterback, and it carried them to a C.

Nobody else had Carson Beck anywhere near pick 3. The Saints did, by 107 spots, and that gap is the whole story. The final tally is a middling C.

They banked enough surplus on Cooper Jr. to cover a lot of smaller sins. Whatever Carson Beck becomes, the front office has tied its fortunes to the answer. They robbed the room blind at the table, and it lifts the grade on its own.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Hit on Carson Beck and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
