Nobody else had Jambres Dubar anywhere near Round 2, Pick 22. The 49ers did, by 444 spots, and that gap is the whole story. A weekend of give and take that grades a C+.

The Tate value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere. A whole weekend of picks and tight end is somehow still a want.

Offensive lineman is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Building through the lines is a philosophy, and they stuck to it.

So much rides on Francis Mauigoa that the real verdict is a season or two away.
