The Jaeden Roberts selection is the head-turner. The Chargers reached 35 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. No fireworks, but a solid B-.

The edge rusher spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. However the rest shakes out, Thieneman at that price is a win they earned. The roster is better shaped than it was, with interior defensive lineman chief among the fixes.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
