The Buccaneers did not reach, did not trade up, did not blink. They just waited, and Fernando Mendoza fell into slot 142. It does the job without flash, and the B+ reflects it.

They won the margins on every swap, and it adds up fast. Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. If Freeling pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about.
