There is a lot to like until you notice linebacker is still a hole. The Bengals never got to the one that mattered most. Call it a sensible B-, earned the boring way.

The Miller reach is the anchor dragging on the value grade. The roster is better shaped than it was, with cornerback chief among the fixes. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

Good work on the whole, with linebacker the one box left unchecked.
