Everything else got attention, and linebacker got none. That is a strange way for the Bengals to leave a draft.

They are betting Miller proves the room right and everyone else wrong. Job largely done: cornerback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered. The trenches got the money picks, top to bottom.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
