You can hear the double-takes from here. The Bears took Rara Dillworth at the 131st pick, roughly 295 spots before his name belonged. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

If one pick saves this weekend, it is Altmyer. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped linebacker, which is a strange place to end up. It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.
