The Browns bled value on every deal, hence the B-.

You can fall in love with a player. You are not supposed to marry him in the wrong round. The Browns did exactly that with Jacob Rodriguez in No. 72.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They banked enough surplus on McKinney to cover a lot of smaller sins.

On the needs board they went 6 of 9, with quarterback the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
