They finally answered the question that shadows every other one. Shedeur Sanders is the Bears' quarterback, full stop. More right than wrong, and a B to match.

If Sanders pans out, nobody remembers the price. If not, this is the pick they hear about. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped running back, which is a strange place to end up. Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the running back spot they never got to.
