The phones were a trap the Raiders kept walking into, shipping out surplus on nearly every deal.

That edge rusher hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall. They are betting Davis proves the room right and everyone else wrong.

Getting Thompson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

The verdict is not kind, and fairly so; this class has a hill to climb.
