No fireworks, just a tidy B- for the Ravens.

You can usually follow a front office's logic. This one is harder. The Ravens spent the 45th overall pick on Sonny Styles while cornerback, quarterback and other spots sat unaddressed.

The cornerback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at. The Hemby pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. Getting Lane where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class.

It is a bet on later, and a defensible one for a team playing the long game.

Solid rather than spectacular, and there is nothing wrong with that.
