Start where it matters. The Raiders took Fernando Mendoza to run the offense for the next decade, and every other decision this weekend bends around that one.

For all the activity, edge rusher went untouched, which is hard to explain. Getting Slaughter where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Cornerback was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.

In sum, a sturdy weekend with one asterisk, the edge rusher spot they never got to.
