Larceny in slot 135 lands the 49ers a B-, Scott and all.

Every so often the board makes a mistake, and the 49ers were there to profit. Xavier Scott, the No. 115 name on the board, should have been long gone before the 135th pick.

Leaving interior defensive lineman unaddressed is the roster risk they will have to answer for in the fall. Slaughter has a lot of ground to make up just to look fairly priced. On the needs board they went 4 of 8, with offensive lineman the one that mattered most.

In sum, a sensible class that nudges the roster the right way.
