The Saints did the meat-and-potatoes work well: B-.

The Saints clearly saw something nobody else did in DJ Campbell, taking him 25 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced.

For all the activity, tight end went untouched, which is hard to explain. The Robertson value carries more weight than any single miss elsewhere.

Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it. Almost all the early capital went to that side of the ball.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
