The Giants clearly saw something nobody else did in Dominic Zvada, taking him 74 picks ahead of his grade. The board is not convinced. More right than wrong, and a B- to match.

The edge rusher hole is the one line item this class does not answer. That Burks pick is the receipt they will wave around later.

They gave back a little on the phones for the right to move. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.

All told, a draft that does its job without fuss, and there is real value in that.
