Barton should have been long gone. The Packers pounced, and earned a D-.

The best pick of the weekend was also the simplest. The Packers watched Lander Barton slide 100 picks past his grade and did not hesitate.

They will need Belton to outplay his draft slot in a hurry to justify it. Overpaying at the table undid a lot of the good work elsewhere.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
