The board owed the Lions one, and it paid up: Kyle Monangai, the No. 202 name on the board, sitting there at the Round 7 slot like a gift left on the doorstep. It nets out to a B, which feels about right.

The Jones pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over. They punted on quarterback, and it is the miss that keeps the grade honest. Nearly every premium pick went to that side of the ball.
