The Kyle McCord selection is the head-turner. The Jets reached 45 spots for him, and it will define how this weekend is remembered. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B-.

They will regret leaving cornerback for another day if the season turns on it. Warren falling to them is the kind of break a good board is built to catch.

Job largely done: quarterback settled and 5 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In short, they left a little better than they arrived, which is the whole idea.
