A respectable, level-headed haul for the Packers: B.

Priorities are a choice, and the Packers made a strange one, taking Cody Simon at linebacker in the Round 4 slot with quarterback, running back and other spots crying out for the pick instead. It does the job without flash, and the B reflects it.

They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. If one pick saves this weekend, it is Williams.

The Smith pick is the one the value grade keeps tripping over.

Nothing here to lose sleep over, and plenty to feel decent about.

Quietly one of the better values of the day, Tyleik Williams at the Round 2 slot. A real hole, addressed with a reasonable pick.
Pick87 Rnd3 Carson Schwesinger
Good things come to war rooms that wait, and Carson Schwesinger at pick No. 87 is the proof. Depth more than a fix, but depth they can use.
Pick124 Rnd4 Cody Simon
Of all the spots to shop, they chose linebacker. Cody Simon in slot 124 leaves quarterback, running back and other spots for later.

Tyler Baron at No. 159 is right where the board had him, plain and simple. A must-fix position, and they treated it like one.
