The rest of the league had time to spare on Tyler Baron; the Packers did not wait, grabbing him 45 spots ahead at No. 117. The math is unkind, and the D- follows.

The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. That quarterback hole did not close this weekend, and it was the biggest one on the wall.

Spending an early pick on linebacker with quarterback and running back open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. That is a safety worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

It is a steep hill from here, and the grade knows it.
