The Packers went off-script early, and it cost them a F. The Packers bet big and early on Jasheen Davis, 102 picks ahead of the board. Bold does not always mean right. A F, plain and simple.
The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They banked enough surplus on Emmanwori to cover a lot of smaller sins.
It is a win-now wager, and the future is the stake. The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before.
Bottom line, it will take a lot of luck to make this look better later.
