The Packers went off-script early, and it cost them a F. The Robbie Ouzts pick is the one that will follow the Packers into the fall. They took him 48 spots ahead of his grade, and the board is not shy about saying so. Little went right, and the F does not pretend otherwise.
The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close. Spending an early pick on linebacker with quarterback open is the decision the grade keeps circling back to. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.
Wilson at that cost is the sort of edge that compounds over a roster. They are betting the present roster is worth a lighter draft next spring.
