The Packers lost the trade table, and the D- tells the story.

There was a run on nobody at that position, and the Packers started one anyway for Fentrell Cypress II, 85 picks ahead of schedule. It grades a D-, and the process earned it.

The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. They covered a lot of ground and still skipped quarterback, which is a strange place to end up. They will answer for taking linebacker early while quarterback, running back and other spots went begging.

That is a linebacker worth more than the slot they spent on him, plainly.

Bottom line, they will be counting on several picks to beat their grades.
