The war room fell hard for Fadil Diggs, and it showed at No. 173: 59 picks ahead of a board that had other ideas.

They handed away value on the phones that the picks cannot earn back. The Packers paired the rookies with proven help, Khalil Shakir leading the way.

Getting Vinson where they did is the sort of value that quietly makes a class. Job largely done: edge rusher settled and 8 of 8 of the wish list covered.

In the end, a class the front office will want to grow past quickly.
