The Packers went off the board in a big way for Francisco Mauigoa, 61 picks early. Conviction is one thing; this is another.

They banked enough surplus on Wilson to cover a lot of smaller sins. The quarterback spot stays a question, and it was the one they most needed an answer at.

Edge rusher was the priority and it is no longer a question, which is most of the job.
