A costly weekend of dealing drags the Packers to a C.

Nobody else had Jasheen Davis anywhere near pick No. 253. The Packers did, by 102 spots, and that gap is the whole story. Fine in stretches, shaky in others: a C.

That Thomas pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The trades bled value they could not afford to lose. The imported veterans give this class a floor the draft picks could not on their own.

Hit on Matthew Golden and the swing picks, and this ages a lot better than it grades today.
