Call it larceny. Damien Martinez sat on the board until the Round 7 slot, and the Chargers did not need to be asked twice. Solid and sensible more than spectacular: a B.

Reaching for Rucker left real value on the table behind him. If this class has a fault line, it runs straight through quarterback. Edge rusher is handled and the depth chart looks a good deal healthier for it.

Bottom line, more hits than misses and a roster nudged the right way.
