The Packers bled value on every deal, hence the D+. The Packers looked at the value chart, folded it up, and took Jasheen Davis at the 250th overall pick regardless, 95 picks early. Hard to defend, and the D+ reflects that.
That Skattebo pick is the receipt they will wave around later. The dealing is the wound this class cannot quite close.
The Packers clearly valued win-now help, adding bodies who have done it before. Stockpiling next year's capital is patient, if unglamorous, asset work.
Bottom line, they will need several of these picks to beat their grades just to break even.
